When you combine the childhood toys of your spouse with your own toys, you can create some striking images. This series of photos won a gold award at the American Advertising Federation of Central Minnesota. It is titled Text and Drive.
This series of photographs tells this story. Ken and Barbie just got married, and were driving their red Convertible to catch a flight to their honeymoon in the Caribbean Islands. While driving, Ken decides to update his relationship status on Facebook. Sadly, while doing so, he had a head–on collision with a Tonka truck. Tragically, Barbie is launched through the windshield, and lands on the hood of the car. While trying to avoid the accident, a Jeep, with a child and his parents is flipped upside down. Both parents lose their lives, and their son miraculously survives. Uncertain about what has happened, He stands in the road in despair.
These photos illustrate the urgency of ignoring your phone while driving. I have close friends who were recently involved in accidents that were caused by drivers who were not paying attention to the road. Never risk your life, or someone else's life. Put the phone down and ignore notifications. It could save your life.
